Dogwood Valley Books is a small press focused bookstore founded in 2024. We're dedicated to shining a light on America's finest writers- indie authors. We operate out of Knoxville, TN at the foot of the Smokey Mountains. We carry poetry, short story collections, novellas, essay collections, and novels. About the owner:

Gardner Dorton is a poet living in Knoxville, TN. His debut collection If I Were God I Would Also Start With Light is published September 2024 by Thirty West Publishing House. His poems have appeared in journals like The Florida Review, Rattle, The Greensboro Review, and Narrative. His chapbook Stone Fruit was published by Glass Poetry Press in 2021.
