Collection: Thirty West Publishing House

Thirty West was founded as a passion project when our founder was an undergraduate at Temple University. It started as a logo and a single chapbook with a limited print run. That was in 2015. Ever since, the hand-made aspect of the chapbook has been paramount, augmenting the reading experience with both common and unique materials. We publish primarily poetry, literary fiction, and nonfiction manuscripts, and our imprint literary journals. We do not have a theme, but if something sticks with us, we will champion it. There is an innate feeling when you pick up a book and you feel the magnetism pull you in. Be it the subject matter, the design, the author's photo, or a mix of any other factors. Every book project comes with new responsibilities and new expectations. Our books become akin to snowflakes—no one is the same—and you are bound to value what we publish even more the longer you possess it.

Our fervent, award-winning, and often debut, authors become family from the day we first read their manuscripts and strive to include them in a diverse, supportive, and ingenious literary community. We like to edit. We like to design. We like to assemble books. We like to pay our authors. The whole deal or none; it is in our blood. We are already part of your collective consciousness as you read this. With your support, independent publishing, and the team live to publish another day. You may be queueing up a manuscript and finishing your cover letter. You may be here to buy your loved one/colleague/friend’s book. You may just be enjoying a carefree stroll through our site for the first time. No matter your purpose, you are here, and we welcome you. With your support, independent publishing, and the team, live to publish another day.
